The Macassar ebony appointments really add a nice depth of hue to the color palate but keep it simple enough to add a classic elegance to the overall look.”

The Modern Signature is assembled like a string quartet Instrument mixed with traditional and modern archtop making techniques. It’s our take on the late 20’s early 30’s instruments that were made by Gibson and D’Angelico. The top braces are Rancourt Guitars own original design and are hand carved in the top to enhance the harmonic response & complexity. It also reduce loosing vibration through glued straight joints and it gives a more balanced natural tone and resonance to a wider frequency range throughout the top.
